Update!

Hello All!
It's been quite some time since I've last blogged. I'd like to say that I've been busy doing a lot of wonderful things off my list, but really, I've found myself quite occupied because of List Item #12: Find a Job. I got a teaching job at a Christian school. I am currently teaching a 7 different classes. I teach biology, 3 grammar classes, 1 literature class, 1 history class, and a speech class. I find myself a lot of the time, coming home and being VERY tired. I make it home in time to cook dinner, clean up, take a shower, and go to bed. It has been quite a formulaic routine. Occasionally, I am able to chat with John and that, makes the day so very wonderful.

Within my first week of teaching, I was having a pretty horrible day. I looked down at my left ring finger to find a diamond missing from my ring. This brings us to List Item #58: Get my engagement ring & wedding band re-dipped. I had to drive 78 miles North to the closest Ultra Diamond to get my ring looked at. John graciously bought the rings that I had to have when he was thinking about proposing to me. Well, because of this, he bought my ring at the only place that had it -- Ultra Diamond. Little did I know that we'd be on the complete opposite side of the country where there are very limited Ultra Diamonds -- not like Long Island where there was one 20 minutes from our house!. So, Stephanie and I took the 78 mile (one way) drive up to Tulalip, WA where Ultra Diamonds can be found. There, I reluctantly dropped my rings off in hopes to pick them up in a month. 5 weeks later, the rings were done, the diamond replaced, and full of sparkle. I picked them up in their full glory -- looking as beautiful as they did the day I fell in love with them.

My wonderful sister-in-law, Kerri had a friend who recently had a baby girl. She (Kerri) wanted to send her a hairbow/bow holder Congratulatory gift. Kerri, being awesome, asked me if I could make this for her. I of course, said Y-E-S! This brings me to List Item #63: Create a New Style of hairbows (look at the purple flower with the gem). I have been making hairbows for a little over a year now and must say, I am yet to get tired of making them. I really enjoyed making this holder & bows for baby Gabriella. I can't wait to see some pictures of her with some of these on!

The purple flower with the gem in the middle, is the newest hairbow style.
